Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FounderGem LLC (“CalGem”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CalGem scheduling platform and related websites and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
The data controller is FounderGem LLC:
FounderGem LLC c/o
1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200
Sheridan, WY 82801
United States
For privacy questions, contact privacy@calgem.app.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, password hash, handle, timezone, profile and branding settings.
- Scheduling data — event types, availability, bookings, attendees, intake answers, meeting polls, routing-form submissions, contacts and workspace data you create.
- Connected services — when you connect a calendar (Google, Microsoft) or conferencing/payment provider, we store the access tokens and the busy/free or event data needed to provide the Service. We request the minimum scopes required.
- Billing data — plan, subscription status and a Stripe customer identifier. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Technical data — IP address, device/browser information and log data for security and reliability.
3. How we use information
- To provide scheduling, calendaring, notifications, payments and the features you enable.
- To send transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, reschedules, cancellations) and, where configured, workflow emails/SMS.
- To operate, secure, debug and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, improvement), consent (e.g. optional integrations) and legal obligation.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with sub-processors that help us run the Service — for example calendar providers you connect (Google, Microsoft), email delivery (Resend), SMS (Twilio), payments (Stripe), and our hosting/infrastructure provider — and only as needed to provide the features you use. Invitees and hosts see the booking details relevant to their meetings.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records in-app, and you can permanently delete your entire account and associated data at any time from Settings → Privacy. Deleting your account removes your workspaces, event types, bookings and related data, subject to limited retention required by law.
7. Your rights
- Access & portability — export all of your data as JSON from Settings → Privacy.
- Erasure — delete your account and data at any time.
- Rectification — edit your profile and records in-app.
- Objection/restriction — contact us to exercise these rights.
To make a request, email privacy@calgem.app. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, scoped OAuth tokens and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data there and in other countries where our sub-processors operate, using appropriate safeguards where required.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
